Welcome to The Park – Nursery!

The Nursery at Park Avenue Church is a vital ministry providing childcare for the children of church members & prospective members. It allows parents opportunities to learn and grow in their faith during times of Worship, Bible studies, committee meetings, and more.

We believe children are a gift from God. It is a privilege to be entrusted with these special blessings! The nursery is many children’s first experience in the family of God. Our nursery strives to minister to young children through loving, Christian, quality care. We are not just changing diapers. We are asking God to change lives through ministry!

Frequently Asked Questions

We understand that bringing your Little One to a new place can be stressful at times. We have answered our most common questions below, but please do not hesitate to reach out to our Nursery Director or the Church Office (229-242-3562) if you have questions about our Nursery not answered below.

On Sunday mornings, Nursery is available during all Worship Services and the Sunday School hour. The Nursery opens at 8:45am if you are attending the Traditional service. If you attend the Contemporary service, we ask that you promptly pick up your Little Ones at the conclusion of the service.

You may drop off your children in the Children’s Building and leave them for the duration of your time on campus.

On Tuesday & Thursday mornings, the Nursery is open for Parent’s Morning Out from 9:00am – Noon.

Yes! We know it's a big deal to leave your children in the care of others! It's our goal to give you piece of mind with secure Children's Check-In, safe ratios of caretakers to children, and text messaging system to alert you if your child needs you.

Sunday Mornings

Babies through 2-year-olds will remain in their classrooms and will have time to play and be nurtured.

Children in the 3’s & 4’s classes may rotate classrooms between the Worship and Sunday School hour; and will enjoy time in Sunday School, Bible story time, classroom play, and fun on the playground.

Parent's Morning Out

Our babies enjoy time to play or nap in their classrooms. Older children will enjoy group play, coloring, crafts, and time on the playground.

Parent's Morning Out

Parent's Morning Out (PMO) is a ministry that is open to members, prospective members, and siblings of Park Avenue Church Preschool. PMO is offered on Tuesday and Thursday from the hours of 9:00am - Noon.

Cost:

One Child: $10.00 per day
Two Children: $20.00 per day
Three + Children: $25.00 per day

You may pay by cash or check the day you use the nursery, or you may purchase a pre-paid punch card. No reservations are required.

If you are attending a church function during the hour of PMO (Bible Study, Clothes Closet, working Bazaar, etc.) you are not expected to pay for PMO during that time.
