Equipping the Next Generation

The Park Avenue Church Student Ministry is for 6th grade – 12th grade students who have a desire to grow in their faith, or to find out what a life in Christ is all about! We believe it is our job to EQUIP these students for “kingdom work”, and we do this in a variety of ways. We offer weekly bible studies, and Sunday Night Worship where students can join together in worship as a body in fellowship with one another. Students have many opportunities to lead during this service through song, prayer, or even sometimes giving the message!

We also have regular off-campus activities. We have mission trips, youth conferences, leadership retreats, and certain days dedicated completely to having fun and growing closer as a group.  We hope that you will join us!

Fall Retreat

Park Avenue Students are going to Camp Warren Willis in Fruitland Park, FL on Saturday November 19th through Monday November 21st! Cost is $225 per person. This includes all meals, lodging and water park admission. Registration will begin September 11. Registration is due November 6. 
Scholarships are available and completely confidential.

Ice Skating

We're going ice skating Friday, December 16 at the Community First Igloo in Jacksonville, FL! We will meet at the church at 5:00pm. Each Student will receive a Chickfila Sandwich, chips and a drink for the road. Cost of the trip is $20 per student. Concessions will be available at the Ice-skating rink during our skate time.

Senior High Miami Mission Trip

High School students have the opportunity to go on a mission trip to South Florida June 10th - 15th, 2023. South Florida is home to the fifth-largest urban area in the country and is seen as a significant "multicultural mosaic" where many locals retain and celebrate their unique cultural heritage. On this mission trip, students will be given the opportunity to partner with a Haitian, Jamaican, Cuban, or Mexican community. Cost of the trip is $550. A $50 non-refundable deposit is due December 11th.

Mid High Summer Camp - Awanita Valley Camp

Park Avenue Mid High Students will be traveling to Awanita Valley Camp in Marietta, South Carolina on June 19th through June 23rd! Cost is $300 per person. Registration opens in January 2023.

Sunday School

The Youth Sunday School meets in Building B – Youth Building. On Sundays we begin with an assembly and activity before dismissing students to their classes.

Sunday School classes provides Biblical instruction where students can ask questions to deepen their walk with Christ. Students will make new friends, connect with older ones, and connect and engage with the Student Ministry at Park Ave.

Classes end at 10:50am so the youth may attend the 11:00am worship service in the Fellowship Hall.
